Takako Nishizaki
Takako Nishizaki, famous in Hong Kong and China through her recordings and performances of Chinese violin music, especially the Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto, founded her Violin Studio in 2005 with the aim of raising the standards of violin playing in Hong Kong.
She studied with Shinichi Suzuki and her father Shinji, the co-founder of the Suzuki Method and combined the best elements of the Suzuki Method and traditional teaching with her own experience as a world-class performer to create her Nishizaki Method.
The Studio accepts students from the age of 2 ½ years.
Initially, all students are taught by her assistants who speak Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Korean. The Studio regularly organizes public performances to give the students experience and confidence. At present, the teaching staff of the Studio includes Cynthia Tse, Hyejin Chung and Victor Leung.
Hyejin Chung studied with Takako Nishizaki at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) and graduated with an Advanced Certificate in violin performance. She subsequently studied with Sergey Kravchenko, a student and assistant of Leonid Kogan, at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatoire. She graduated with a Doctorate in Musical Arts in 2011.
While in Russia, she won a number of competitions and performed with various orchestras. She also appeared as a soloist with orchestras in her native Korea, Russia and Austria. After settling in Hong Kong, she focused on playing chamber music and teaching advanced students at the Takako Nishizaki Violin Studio.
Hyejin Chung has made a number of recordings for the Naxos label.

Cynthia Tse
Cynthia Tse studied at the Academy for Performing Arts. She awarded a full scholarship from Y.S. Liu, graduated with the Bachelor of music (honours) Degree in 2011 and her Master of music in 2013.
Cynthia's performances included solos, chamber music and also orchestra. She played the Triple quartet with the Smith quartet which was first performed in Hong Kong. She sat as the concert master of the Academy Symphony Orchestra and performed numerous concerts and Operas. She also participated actively in different orchestras such as the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Hong Kong Virtuosi Orchestra, HKSAR Orchestra and HKAPA baroque ensemble etc.
She started working at Takako Nishizaki Violin Studio after graduation, focused on playing chamber music and teaching.
Victor Leung
Victor Leung studied viola at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a Vincent Costantio Scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Music (Viola). He subsequently awarded with merit scholarship to study at the New England Conservatory of Music and received his Master's Degree from this prestigious American music school. Previously he studied at the Victorian college of the Arts in Melbourne. Victor also has a diploma from London's Trinity College of Music.
He performed with the Boston Chamber Orchestra, the San Francisco Academy Orchestra and the Atlantic symphony Orchestra. He was also selected to play with the Asian Youth Orchestra throughout Asia. In 2011, he was chosen be a principal violist at The National Orchestra Institute. At the same year, he was accepted by the Banff festival orchestra with full scholarship. He has also been invited to play as guest violist with the Bachanalia Taiwan on their Taiwan tour in 2013.
